WW #13: Wings and Water

The fourth word on the Liepzig-Jakarta list is “water”. Nitherian needed a word for water, so I made it osla [ˈo.ɬa].

Muipidan and Kharulian already had words for water, so I gave them words for wings instead.

Muipidan t’aayto [ˈtʼa.aj.to] refers to both a bird’s wing and a fish’s fin, both of them being flattish animal appendages.

Kharulian ankwée [anˈkʷeː] primarily means “wing”, but can also be used for “feather”.
